Warranty Information

LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty applies to products purchased in the CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES and covers your product against defects in materials, and workmanship when used for the intended purpose under normal use and conditions, provided the product receives normal maintenance and care. The warranty is for the original owner only.  This warranty covers defects in material or craftsmanship for 30 days from date of purchase. Sales receipt required. This warranty does not cover pads, rollers, rubber pieces, bolts or nuts unless missing or damaged in original box. It does not cover any damages due to misuse or exceeding the recommended weight capacity. This warranty is void in cases where the product is used in a commercial, rental, or other non-home use setting. Manufacturer will provide a replacement part at no charge for any part found defective in materials or workmanship during the specified warranty period. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be responsible for damages or failures that occur as a result of improper assembly or failure to operate the product correctly. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accident, alterations, or repairs made by an unauthorized service representative. Warranty voided outside of the United States. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Use of this product creates an agreement between the manufacturer and the user of this product to resolve all disputes, claims, or controversies whatsoever arising from or relating to this product, including the validity of this arbitration clause, pursuant to Section 2 of the Federal Arbitration Act. Maximum judgment for all causes of action shall be limited to $10,000. The parties agree and understand that by using this product they choose arbitration instead of litigation to resolve disputes. If buyer(s) choose not to enter into this agreement, they may return unused product to the place or purchase.  IMPORTANT:  To help us assist you, be prepared to provide the model no., name of the product and key number for replacement parts found on this manual.

CAP Barbell (CAP) warrants that the product you have purchased is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the product is your proof of the date of purchase. This warranty applies only in the United States and only to products manufactured by CAP that are purchased directly from CAP or from an authorized CAP dealer. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. 

This warranty does not extend to any product that has been damaged or rendered defective; (a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by CAP; (c) by modification of the product or (d) using product in a manner for which it is not intended . Except as expressly set forth in this warranty, CAP makes no other warranties, expressed or implied of merchant ability and/or fitness for a particular purpose. 

CAP will not be held responsible for transportation or labor costs associated with returning merchandise. All goods that have been given an authorization number from CAP must be shipped back to a CAP facility for inspection using the cap return authorization number# and must be shipped prepaid. Any collect or 3rd party shipments will be refused. 

CAP is not responsible for any damages sustained during transportation to or from our facilities. Upon inspection, if product is deemed defective, CAP reserves the right to repair or replace product at its discretion. Any repaired or replaced merchandise will be shipped prepaid by a CAP approved carrier. In the event that the goods are not defective; the customer will be fully responsible for the pickup of the product from our warehouse facility at their own expense. Customer must assign and prepay the carrier. Any returns not picked up within 30 days of their receipt at a CAP facility may be destroyed or assessed a storage fee of up to $50 per day. Before returning a product, you must call 1-877-227-0955 to obtain a return authorization number. No returns will be accepted without authorization. Following these practical guidelines will help you to enjoy your CAP product for years to come.

MACHINE ACCESSORIES

Finish peeling, rust, lost components, chips, cracked finish. Leather goods may be covered by US manufacturer and must contact them directly.

 

DUMBBELLS * 

Dropping and/or knocking dumbbells together is the primary cause of loose heads and bent handles and is considered a misuse of the product. CAP will not warrant or replace dumbbells that exhibit signs of the above. Do not use dumbbells that are becoming loose. If product arrives with loose head it must be reported within 7 days of receipt to be considered a defect and not caused by miss use.

BARS ** 

Bars typically become bent by leaving weight plates on the bar while the bar is rested on bench uprights after use. This process can occur in just a few hours and is considered misuse. CAP will not warranty or replace bars exhibiting this misuse. Remove plates from bar after each use and store the bar in a vertical holder or flat on the floor, cracked sleeves and loose ends can also result from dropping bar with plates on the floor which is considered misuse and not covered by this warranty.

Bumper Plates***

Please note that certain bumper plates are for home setting only and warranty will not be applied if used in a commerical or gym setting (Economy/Speckled).

CARE **** 

1. Do not drop or tap product together. This will help to avoid loose heads and damage to item finish or item itself. 

2. After use, wipe your product off with a clean cloth. This will minimize the risk of your products finish from rusting. 

3. After each use, remove the plates and collars from bars, this will eliminate the probability of a bar from permanently bending. 

4. Store your product indoors and away from moisture. 

5. Keep your equipment away from children and pets. Secure the product safely so children or pets cannot harm themselves
